In your cpanel control panel scroll down to the Databases section and click the MySQL databases icon.
In the create Database panel create a database, call it something you can remember or better still write it down.
Don't forget the first part outside the input box is part of the name, in the image below the database name is site_Database1
Now we can see in our database panel the database has been created.
Time to create a new user, Scroll down to the users panel and fill in the details required. you can use the password generator to create a strong and secure password or use one of your own.
Once again write the details down for later.
Click on Create User.
Scroll down to the bottom of the panel and you should see a new user created and the Add User to Database panel.
We have only one user and one database so just click the Add button.
Now we see the privileges screen where we can set user permissions for the database, as this is the main user of the database click on the all privileges button in the top of the panel:
In the database control panel you will now see the new database and user have been created:
Don't forget to write the User Name, Password and Database name down.
