Live Mail is the free Email client from Microsoft, replacing Outlook express which used to be part of the windows setup.
Windows Live Mail has a nice clean interface that you can change as per requirements. You can setup multiple email accounts including Gmail, Hotmail . Additional features include Photo e-mail, through which you can send high resolution photographs over email as thumbnails which means the recipient's inbox will not be congested with large attachments.
The full sized photo will be displayed only when requested and that too from a private web location. Windows Live Mail has enhanced security with automated filtering of junk email including spam and phishing messages. In addition to emails, you can have RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds delivered to your inbox.
Download the latest version of Live Mail and install it.
Once installed, Open Windows Live Mail and click on the Accounts tab at the top.
Click the Add e-mail account button
A popup window will appear.
Type your e-mail address and password.
Type your name. This is what others will see when you send them an e-mail.
If you're adding a hotmail account or Gmail etc Click Next.
In this case we are going to add an email account we set up on our website in cpanel.

Tick the Manually configure server settings and then click next.
Select POP3 as the server type. Type your Incoming and Outgoing e-mail servers.
You will find your name serversand the ports they use on the Welcome Email when you signed for your hosting space.
Typically they will be
Type your full e-mail address for the Login ID. Do not select any of the checkboxes. Click Next.
Click Finish. You are now ready to send and receive e-mail.
