Once at the JCE site, go to the Downloads link in the main menu, select Editor, and select Joomla! 3.0 from the drop down menu. It is always important to select the version of the component/module/plug-in that is compatible with the version of Joomla! that you're using.
Save the .zip file to your computer.
It's important to remember that Joomla only recognizes .zip files for components/modules/plug-ins. Select a place to save the .zip file and download it to your computer.
install the jce editor
First, log in to the Administration area (the back end) of your site and go to Extensions > Extension Manager. Or you can use the direct link on the control panel.
Once inside the Extension Manager, go to the Upload Package File tab, and select the Choose File button to browse your computer and select the .zip file you downloaded to your computer. Once you've selected the file and the name appears in the field, select the Upload & Install button.
You will receive a green message indicating that the installation was successful. Once you receive this message, keep reading to learn how to make the JCE Editor the default editor for your site.
Changing Default Editor
Ok now we have installed JCE editor we need to make it the default editor for the whole website
To make the JCE Editor the default editor for the entire site, go to the Global Configuration.

In the Global Configuration/site tab area, find the Default Editor option.
Click the arrow at the right side of the dropdown list Select the JCE Editor from the list. Click the "Save" to apply the change you've made.

All yo have to do now is go to your content and iether open an article or create a new one. Then you will see the new JCE Editor in place of the TinyMCE one.
